Women Of The Bible
In a world that battles against inequality, sometimes the perception is created that God is more favourable to men. But a deeper look into the Bible will testify that God values women every bit as much as He does men. We read that no matter the culture, social or economic conditions of that time, God revealed His love and concern for women repeatedly. Jesus lived in a time and culture that often-regarded women as property and placed no value on their opinions or even their testimony in court of law. Yet, Jesus broke traditions wherever He went, and nowhere was this clearer than in His relationship with women. We see the reflection of His love, respect, and care for them throughout the scriptures in the lives of Deborah, Mary, Esther, Hagar, Ruth and many more. God has always valued women and still does today.
