Identity
Jesus put Himself on the cross to die for us and took OUR punishment upon Himself, so that we may be saved. God proved that death was not the end when He resurrected Jesus from death. There is countless evidence; (Biblical as well as non-Biblical) that proves Jesus was in fact raised from the dead. He Rose to give us the gift of eternal life, He rose so that we may have a loving relationship with our Creator, God; Jesus rose to rescue us from sin.
